Police Officers Association of Michigan Endorses Mike Bishop

Brighton, MI – Today, the Mike Bishop for Congress campaign announced the endorsement of the Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM).  The POAM represents over 12,000 law enforcement employees throughout the State of Michigan.

Mike Bishop said, “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Police Officers Association of Michigan and so many people that work day-to-day to protect us from harm.   I appreciate their efforts to provide public safety and will work hand in hand to ensure that our communities have the resources to stay safe and thrive.”

Mike Bishop has also received the endorsement of Livingston County Sheriff Bob Bezotte and Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard.

Mike Bishop is currently Chief Legal Officer for International Bancard Corporation and is also an Adjunct Professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Prior to his first election in 1998, Bishop was a private practice attorney, serving families, small businesses, and local governments.
