Mike Bishop Has Spent his Entire Career Protecting Kids
Rochester Hills, MI—The Mike Bishop for Congress campaign released its first campaign ad, “Face of our Future” which laid out Bishop’s tremendous record protecting kids. The ad cited Mike Bishop’s proposed federal legislation to allow youth-serving organizations to access federal background checks for potential employees, as well as Bishop’s role in creation of the Michigan Child Protection Registry.
“Mike Bishop has a tremendous record throughout his career protecting children and families,” stated Stu Sandler, Spokesperson, Mike Bishop for Congress. “Throughout his career, Bishop has worked to keep communities safe and will continue to do so on behalf of families in the 8thDistrict and throughout Michigan.”
“Bishop’s commitment to keeping our community safe and backing our police officers is underscored by the support he has received,” said Sandler. Earlier this year, Bishop received the endorsement of the Police Officers Association of Michigan, which represents over 12,000 law enforcement officers throughout the state of Michigan.
